    The 2D to 3D project was made out of clay. The first I looked at the pictures. There are two pictures. One is about the food and another is about workers working in the field. I connect two pictures, which has the meaning that food comes from the people who work hard. It also tells people not to waste food. The 3D piece out of clay was a board, which puts the elements of workers and food together. It supposes to have pumpkins, cakes and puddings in the main part of the board and workers and cows on the edge. It represents that people mostly only see the food but ignore the hard work others done.

   I made this work because there is a lot of food wasting nowadays. The starvation still exists today nationally and internationally. People in Asia and Africa are starving, while people in some rich countries are wasting food. The garbage bins are full of food we waste. I am studying in the school that is not short of food. The wasting food, however, is a huge problem in my school. I also come from a country of largest population in the world. Although 70% people can have enough food, there are still lots of people who are starving. I went to northwest part of my country and I saw starvation in the area. It is hard to imagine the life in the area. I was moved and I tried to show my inspiration.
    There is a symbol of dollar on my board. It has double meanings. One is saying that people work hard for money. Workers in the field tried to provide food for others in exchange of money. Another meaning is that food is equal to money. We do not throw out money, so why should we throw out the food. I want the viewer to be able to understand the concept of each element and connect them together.
    The piece was exploded during the fire procedure. However, I still introduce the piece because it has a very important meaning in nowadays.
